Some training is required for this ministry, but it is truly a ministry of great personal reward. If you would like more information on becoming a catechist (PSR teacher), please contact the Parish Office.  The Diocese of Cleveland website says that, In the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, the parish school of religion facilitates an encounter with Jesus Christ through the following:

• Liturgical celebrations and prayer
• Proclamation of the of Sacred Scripture and Church teaching
• Preparation for sacraments
• Development of Christian community
• Opportunities for Christian service
• Embracing the richness of Christian cultural diversity
